Jesus Is Risen!

1 Now ^G1161 after ^G3796 the Sabbath ^G4521, as it began to dawn ^G2020 toward ^G1519 the first ^G1520 day of the week ^G4521, Mary ^G3137 Magdalene ^G3094 and the other ^G243 Mary ^G3137 came ^G2064 to look ^G2334 at the tomb ^G5028.

2 And behold ^G2400, a severe ^G3173 earthquake ^G4578 had occurred ^G1096, for an angel ^G32 of the Lord ^G2962 descended ^G2597 from heaven ^G3772 and came ^G4334 and rolled ^G617 away ^G617 the stone ^G3037, and sat ^G2521 upon it. 3 And his appearance ^G2397 was like ^G5613 lightning ^G796, and his clothing ^G1742 as white ^G3022 as snow ^G5510. 4 The guards ^G5083 shook ^G4579 from fear ^G5401 of him and became ^G1096 like ^G5613 dead ^G3498 men ^G3498. 5 And the angel ^G32 said ^G3004 to the women ^G1135, “[fn]Do not be ^G5399 afraid ^G5399; for I know ^G6063 that you are looking ^G2212 for ^G2212 Jesus ^G2424 who has been crucified ^G4717. 6 He is not here ^G5602, for He has risen ^G1453, just ^G2531 as ^G2531 He said ^G3004. 8 And they left ^G565 the tomb ^G3419 quickly ^G5035 with fear ^G5401 and great ^G3173 joy ^G5479, and ran ^G5143 to report ^G518 to His disciples ^G3101. 9 And behold ^G2400, Jesus ^G2424 met ^G5221 them [fn]and said ^G3004, “[fn]Rejoice ^G5463!” And they came ^G4334 up ^G4334 and took ^G2902 hold ^G2902 of His feet ^G4228, and worshiped ^G4352 Him. 10 Then ^G5119 Jesus ^G2424 *said ^G3004 to them, “[fn]Do not be ^G5399 afraid ^G5399; go ^G5217, bring ^G518 word ^G518 to My brothers ^G80 to leave ^G565 for Galilee ^G1056, and there ^G1563 they will see ^G3708 Me.”

The Great Commission

16 But the eleven ^G1733 disciples ^G3101 proceeded ^G4198 to Galilee ^G1056, to the mountain ^G3735 which ^G3757 Jesus ^G2424 had designated ^G5021 to them.

17 And when they saw ^G3708 Him, they worshiped ^G4352 Him; but some ^G3588 [fn]were doubtful ^G1365. 18 And Jesus ^G2424 came ^G4334 up ^G4334 and spoke ^G2980 to them, saying ^G3004, “All ^G3956 authority ^G1849 in heaven ^G3772 and on earth ^G1093 has been given ^G1325 to Me. 19 [fn]Go ^G4198, therefore ^G3767, and make ^G3100 disciples ^G3100 of all ^G3956 the nations ^G1484, baptizing ^G907 them in the name ^G3686 of the Father ^G3962 and the Son ^G5207 and the Holy ^G40 Spirit ^G4151, 20 teaching ^G1321 them to [fn]follow ^G5083 all ^G3956 that I commanded ^G1781 you; and behold ^G2400, I am ^G1510 with you [fn]always ^G3956 G2250, to the end ^G4930 of the age ^G165.”
