The Lost Sheep

(Mat 18:10–14 )
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:1 -

Now G1161 all G3956 the tax G5057 collectors G5057 and [fn]sinners G268 were coming G1448 near G1448 [fn]Jesus to listen G191 to Him.

Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:2 - And both G5037 the Pharisees G5330 and the scribes G1122 began to complain G1234, saying G3004, “This G3778 Man G3778 receives G4327 sinners G268 and eats G4906 with them.”
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:3 -

And so He told G3004 them this G3778 parable G3850, saying G3004,

Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:4 - “What G5101 man G444 among G1537 you, if he has G2192 a hundred G1540 sheep G4263 and has lost G622 one G1520 of them, does not leave G2641 the other ninety-nine G1768 G1767 in the [fn]open G2048 pasture G2048 and go G4198 after G1909 the one that is lost G622, until G2193 he finds G2147 it?
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:5 - “And when he has found G2147 it, he puts G2007 it on his shoulders G5606, rejoicing G5463.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:6 - “And when he comes G2064 home G3624, he calls G4779 together G4779 his friends G5384 and his neighbors G1069, saying G3004 to them, ‘Rejoice G4796 with G4796 me, because G3754 I have found G2147 my sheep G4263 that was lost G622!’
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:7 - “I tell G3004 you that in the same G3779 way G3779, there will be more joy G5479 in heaven G3772 over G1909 one G1520 sinner G268 who repents G3340 than G2228 over G1909 ninety-nine G1768 G1767 righteous G1342 people G1342 who G3748 have G2192 no G3756 need G5532 of repentance G3341.

The Lost Coin

Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:8 -

“Or G2228 what G5101 woman G1135, if G1437 she has G2192 ten G1176 [fn]silver G1406 coins G1406 and loses G622 one G1520 coin G1406, does not light G681 a lamp G3088 and sweep G4563 the house G3614 and search G2212 carefully G1960 until G2193 she finds G2147 it?

Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:9 - “And when she has found G2147 it, she calls G4779 together G4779 her friends G5384 and neighbors G1069, saying G3004, ‘Rejoice G4796 with G4796 me, because G3754 I have found G2147 the coin G1406 which G3739 I had lost G622!’
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:10 - “In the same G3779 way G3779, I tell G3004 you, there is joy G5479 in G1799 the G1799 presence G1799 of G1799 the angels G32 of God G2316 over G1909 one G1520 sinner G268 who repents G3340.”

The Prodigal Son

Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:11 -

And He said G3004, “A man G444 had G2192 two G1417 sons G5207.

Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:12 - “The younger G3501 of them said G3004 to his father G3962, ‘Father G3962, give G1325 me the share G3313 of the estate G3776 that [fn]is coming G1911 to me.’ And so he divided G1244 his [fn]wealth G979 between G1244 them.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:13 - “And not many G4183 days G2250 later G3326, the younger G3501 son G5207 gathered G4863 everything G3956 together G4863 and went G589 on G589 a G589 journey G589 to a distant G3117 country G5561, and there G1563 he squandered G1287 his estate G3776 in [fn]wild G811 living G2198.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:14 - “Now G1161 when he had [fn]spent G1159 everything G3956, a severe G2478 famine G3042 occurred G1096 in that country G5561, and he began G757 doing G5302 without G5302.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:15 - “So G2532 he went G4198 and [fn]hired G2853 himself out G2853 to one G1520 of the citizens G4177 of that country G5561, and he sent G3992 him into his fields G68 to feed G1006 pigs G5519.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:16 - “And he longed G1937 to have G5526 his fill G5526 of the carob G2769 pods G2769 that the pigs G5519 were eating G2068, and no G3762 one G3762 was giving G1325 him anything.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:17 - “But when he came G2064 to [fn]his senses G1438, he said G5346, ‘How G4214 many G4214 of my father’s G3962 hired G3407 laborers G3407 have G4052 more G4052 than G4052 enough G4052 bread G740, but I am dying G622 here G5602 [fn]from hunger G3042!
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:18 - ‘I will set G450 out G450 and go G4198 to my father G3962, and will say G3004 to him, “Father G3962, I have sinned G264 against G1519 heaven G3772, and [fn]in G1799 your sight G1799;
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:19 - I am G1510 no G3765 longer G3765 worthy G514 to be called G2564 your son G5207; treat G4160 me as one G1520 of your hired G3407 laborers G3407.”’
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:20 - “So G2532 he set G450 out G450 and came G2064 to [fn]his father G3962. But when he was still G2089 a long G3112 way G3112 off G568, his father G3962 saw G3708 him and felt G4697 compassion G4697 for him, and ran G5143 and [fn]embraced G1968 G1909 G5137 him and kissed G2705 him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:21 - “And the son G5207 said G3004 to him, ‘Father G3962, I have sinned G264 against G1519 heaven G3772 and [fn]in G1799 your sight G1799; I am G1510 no G3765 longer G3765 worthy G514 to be called G2564 your son G5207.’
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:22 - “But the father G3962 said G3004 to his slaves G1401, ‘Quickly G5035 bring G1627 out G1627 the best G4413 robe G4749 and put G1746 it on him, and [fn]put G1325 a ring G1146 on his finger G5495 and sandals G5266 on his feet G4228;
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:23 - and bring G5342 the fattened G4618 calf G3448, slaughter G2380 it, and let’s eat G2068 and celebrate G2165;
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:24 - for this G3778 son G5207 of mine G1473 was dead G3498 and has come G326 to G326 life G326 again G326; he was lost G622 and has been found G2147.’ And they began G757 to celebrate G2165.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:25 -

“Now G1161 his older G4245 son G5207 was in the field G68, and when G5613 he came G2064 and approached G1448 the house G3614, he heard G191 music G4858 and dancing G5525.

Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:26 - “And he summoned G4341 one G1520 of the servants G3816 and began inquiring G4441 what G5101 G302 these G3778 things G3778 could be.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:27 - “And he said G3004 to him, ‘Your brother G80 has G2240 come G2240, and your father G3962 has slaughtered G2380 the fattened G4618 calf G3448 because G3754 he has received G618 him back G618 safe G5198 and G5198 sound G5198.’
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:28 - “But he became G3710 angry G3710 and was not willing G2309 to go G1525 in G1525; and his father G3962 came G1831 out G1831 and began pleading G3870 with him.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:29 - “But he answered G611 and said G3004 to his father G3962, ‘Look G2400! For so G5118 many G5118 years G2094 I have been serving G1398 you and I have never G3763 [fn]neglected G3928 a command G1785 of yours G4771; and yet you never G3763 gave G1325 me a young G2056 goat G2056, so G2443 that G2443 I might celebrate G2165 with my friends G5384;
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:30 - but when G3753 this G3778 son G5207 of yours G4771 came G2064, who has devoured G2719 your [fn]wealth G979 with prostitutes G4204, you slaughtered G2380 the fattened G4618 calf G3448 for him.’
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:31 - “And he said G3004 to him, ‘Son G5043, you [fn]have always G3842 been G1510 with me, and all G3956 that is mine G1699 is yours G4674.
Unchecked Copy BoxLuk 15:32 - ‘But we had G1163 to celebrate G2165 and rejoice G5463, because G3754 this G3778 brother G80 of yours G4771 was dead G3498 and has begun to live G2198, and was lost G622 and has been found G2147.’”
