Come and See the Works of God

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:1 -

For the choir director. A Song. A Psalm.

Make a loud shout to God, all the earth;

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:2 -

Sing praise for the glory of His name;

Establish His praise as glorious.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:3 -

Say to God, “How [fn]fearsome are Your works!

Because of the abundance of Your strength Your enemies will [fn]cower before You.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:4 -

“All the earth will worship You,

And will sing praises to You;

They will sing praises to Your name.” [fn]Selah.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:5 -

Come and see the works of God,

Who is fearsome in His deeds toward the sons of men.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:6 -

He turned the sea into dry land;

They passed through the river on foot;

There let us be glad in Him!

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:7 -

He rules by His might forever;

His eyes keep watch on the nations;

Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:8 -

Bless our God, O peoples,

And [fn]make the sound of His praise heard,

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:9 -

Who [fn]establishes us among the living

And does not allow our feet to stumble.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:10 -

For You have tested us, O God;

You have refined us as silver is refined.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:11 -

You brought us into the net;

You established an oppressive burden upon our loins.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:12 -

You made men ride over our heads;

We went through fire and through water,

Yet You brought us out into a place of abundance.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:13 -

I shall come into Your house with burnt offerings;

I shall pay You my vows,

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:14 -

Which my lips uttered

And my mouth spoke when I was in distress.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:15 -

I shall offer to You burnt offerings of fat beasts,

With the smoke of rams;

I shall make an offering of [fn]bulls with male goats. Selah.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:16 -

Come and hear, all who [fn]fear God,

And I will recount what He has done for my soul.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:17 -

I called out to Him with my mouth,

And [fn]He was exalted with my tongue.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:18 -

If I [fn]see wickedness in my heart,

The Lord [fn]will not [fn]hear;

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:19 -

But certainly God has heard;

He has given heed to the voice of my prayer.

Unchecked Copy BoxPsa 66:20 -

Blessed be God,

Who has not turned away my prayer

Nor His lovingkindness from me.
