Woe ^H1945 to those who enact ^H2710 evil ^H205 statutes ^H2706

And to those who constantly record ^H3789 [fn]mischief ^H5999,

So as to turn ^H5186 the poor ^H1800 away ^H5186 from their cause ^H1779

And rob ^H1497 the afflicted ^H6041 of My people ^H5971 of their justice ^H4941,

So that widows ^H490 may be their spoil ^H7998

And that they may plunder ^H962 the [fn]orphans ^H3490.

Now what ^H4100 will you do ^H6213 in the day ^H3117 of visitation ^H6486,

And in the devastation ^H7722 which will come ^H935 from afar ^H4801?

To whom ^H4310 will you flee ^H5127 for help ^H5833?

And where ^H575 will you leave ^H5800 your [fn]glory ^H3519?

Nothing ^H1115 remains but to crouch ^H3766 [fn]among ^H8478 the captives ^H616
