“Wail ^H3213, ‘Alas ^H1929 for the day ^H3117!’

“For the day ^H3117 is near ^H7138,

Even the day ^H3117 of Yahweh ^H3068 is near ^H7138;

It will be a day ^H3117 of clouds ^H6051,

A time ^H6256 of doom for the nations ^H1471.

“A sword ^H2719 will come ^H935 upon Egypt ^H4714,

And anguish ^H2479 will be in [fn]Ethiopia ^H3568;

When the slain ^H2491 fall ^H5307 in Egypt ^H4714,

They take ^H3947 away her multitude ^H1995,

And her foundations ^H3247 are pulled ^H2040 down ^H2040.

“[fn]Ethiopia ^H3568, Put ^H6316, Lud ^H3865, all ^H3605 [fn]Arabia ^H6152, [fn]Libya ^H3864, and the [fn]people ^H1121 of the land ^H776 [fn]that is in covenant ^H1285 will fall ^H5307 with them by the sword ^H2719.”
