Strong's Number G4646 matches the Greek σκολιός (skolios),
which occurs 19 times in 18 verses
in the LXX Greek.
His people have acted corruptly toward him;
this is their defect[fn] — they are not his children
but a devious and crooked generation.
Even if I were in the right, my own mouth would condemn me;
if I were blameless, my mouth would declare me guilty.
Then they would not be like their ancestors,
a stubborn and rebellious generation,
a generation whose heart was not loyal
and whose spirit was not faithful to God.
There are thorns and snares on the way of the crooked;
the one who guards himself stays far from them.
The one who lives with integrity will be helped,
but one who distorts right and wrong[fn]
will suddenly fall.
On that day the LORD with his relentless, large, strong sword will bring judgment on Leviathan, the fleeing serpent — Leviathan, the twisting serpent. He will slay the monster that is in the sea.
Every valley will be lifted up,
and every mountain and hill will be leveled;
the uneven ground will become smooth
and the rough places, a plain.
“I will lead the blind by a way they did not know;
I will guide them on paths they have not known.
I will turn darkness to light in front of them
and rough places into level ground.
This is what I will do for them,
and I will not abandon them.
All are stubborn rebels
spreading slander.
They are bronze and iron;
all of them are corrupt.
