وَقُلْتُ لَهُ: إِلَى هُنَا تُخُومُكَ فَلا تَتَعَدَّاهَا، وَهُنَا يَتَوَقَّفُ عُتُوُّ أَمْوَاجِكَ؟

וָאֹמַר עַד־פֹּה תָבֹוא וְלֹא תֹסִיף וּפֹא־יָשִׁית בִּגְאֹון גַּלֶּיךָ׃

εἶπα δὲ αὐτῇ μέχρι τούτου ἐλεύσῃ καὶ οὐχ ὑπερβήσῃ ἀλλ᾽ ἐν σεαυτῇ συντριβήσεταί σου τὰ κύματα

وَقُلْتُ: إِلَى هُنَا تَأْتِي وَلاَ تَتَعَدَّى، وَهُنَا تُتْخَمُ كِبْرِيَاءُ لُجَجِكَ؟

And I said to it, Hitherto shalt thou come, but thou shalt not go beyond, but thy waves shall be confined within thee.

Y dije: Hasta aquí vendrás, y no pasarás adelante, y ahí parará la hinchazón de tus ondas?
