Since the men had heard that they were going to eat a meal there, they prepared their gift for Joseph’s arrival at noon.
وَهَيَّأُوا الْهَدِيَّةَ إِلَى أَنْ يَجِيءَ يُوسُفُ عَِنْدَ الظُّهْرِ، لأَنَّهُمْ سَمِعُوا أَنَّهُمْ هُنَاكَ يَأْكُلُونَ طَعَامًا.
