وَلَمَّا رَأَى أَهْلُ أَشْدُودَ الأَمْرَ كَذلِكَ قَالُوا: «لاَ يَمْكُثُ تَابُوتُ إِلهِ إِسْرَائِيلَ عِنْدَنَا لأَنَّ يَدَهُ قَدْ قَسَتْ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى دَاجُونَ إِلهِنَا».
