PSALM 125
The LORD Surrounds His People.
A Song of Ascents.
1 Those who trust H982 in the LORD H3068
Are like Mount H2022 Zion H6726, which cannot H3808 be moved H4131 but remains H3427 forever H5769.
2 As the mountains H2022 surround H5439 Jerusalem H3389,
So the LORD H3068 surrounds H5439 His people H5971
From this H6258 time H6258 and forever H5704 H5769.
3 For the scepter H7626 of wickedness H7562 will not rest H5117 upon the [fn]land H1486 of the righteous H6662,
So H4616 that H4616 the righteous H6662 will not extend H7971 their hands H3027 to do wrong H5766.
4 Do H3190 good H3190, LORD H3068, to those who are good H2896
And to those who are upright H3477 in their hearts H3820.
5 But as for those who turn H5186 aside H5186 to their crooked H6128 ways H6128,
