Obey God and Prosper

1 “Now this ^H2088 is the commandment ^H4687, the statutes ^H2706, and the judgments ^H4941 which ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430 has commanded ^H6680 me to teach ^H3925 you, so that you may do ^H6213 them in the land ^H776 where ^H834 H8033 you are going ^H5674 over ^H5674 to take ^H3423 possession ^H3423 of it,

2 so ^H4616 that ^H4616 you, your son ^H1121, and your grandson ^H1121 will fear ^H3372 the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430, to keep ^H8104 all ^H3605 His statutes ^H2708 and His commandments ^H4687 which ^H834 I command ^H6680 you, all ^H3605 the days ^H3117 of your life ^H2416, and that your days ^H3117 may be prolonged ^H748. 3 Now Israel ^H3478, you shall listen ^H8085 and be ^H8104 careful ^H8104 to do ^H6213 them, so that it may go ^H3190 well ^H3190 for you and that you may increase ^H7235 greatly ^H3966, just ^H834 as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068, the God ^H430 of your fathers ^H1, has [fn]promised ^H1696 you, in a land ^H776 flowing ^H2100 with milk ^H2461 and honey ^H1706.

10 “Then it shall come ^H1961 about ^H1961 when ^H3588 the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430 brings ^H935 you into the land ^H776 that ^H834 He swore ^H7650 to your fathers ^H1, to Abraham ^H85, Isaac ^H3327, and Jacob ^H3290, to give ^H5414 you, great ^H1419 and splendid ^H2896 cities ^H5892 which ^H834 you did not build ^H1129, 11 and houses ^H1004 full ^H4392 of all ^H3605 good ^H2898 things ^H2898 which ^H834 you did not fill ^H4390, and carved ^H2672 cisterns ^H953 which ^H834 you did not carve ^H2672 out ^H2672, vineyards ^H3754 and olive ^H2132 trees ^H2132 which ^H834 you did not plant ^H5193, and you eat ^H398 and are ^H7646 satisfied ^H7646, 12 be ^H8104 [fn]careful ^H8104 that you do not forget ^H7911 the LORD ^H3068 who ^H834 brought ^H3318 you out ^H3318 of the land ^H776 of Egypt ^H4714, out ^H3318 of the house ^H1004 of [fn]slavery ^H5650. 13 You shall [fn]fear ^H3372 only the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430; and you shall [fn]worship ^H5647 Him and swear ^H7650 by His name ^H8034. 14 You shall not follow ^H1980 H310 other ^H312 gods ^H430, any ^H312 of the gods ^H430 of the peoples ^H5971 who ^H834 surround ^H5439 you, 15 for the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430 who is in the midst ^H7130 of you is a jealous ^H7067 God ^H410; so follow Him, or ^H6435 else ^H6435 the anger ^H639 of the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430 will be kindled ^H2734 against you, and He will [fn]wipe ^H8045 you off ^H4480 H5921 the face ^H6440 of the earth ^H127.

16 “You shall not put ^H5254 the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430 to ^H5254 the ^H5254 test ^H5254, as you tested ^H5254 Him at Massah ^H4532. 17 You shall diligently ^H8104 keep ^H8104 the commandments ^H4687 of the LORD ^H3068 your God ^H430, and His provisions ^H5713 and His statutes ^H2706 which ^H834 He has commanded ^H6680 you. 18 You shall do ^H6213 what is right ^H3477 and good ^H2896 in the sight ^H5869 of the LORD ^H3068, so ^H4616 that ^H4616 it may go ^H3190 well ^H3190 for you and that you may go ^H935 in ^H935 and take ^H3423 possession ^H3423 of the good ^H2896 land ^H776 which ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 swore ^H7650 to give your fathers ^H1, 19 by driving ^H1920 out ^H1920 all ^H3605 your enemies ^H340 from you, as the LORD ^H3068 has spoken ^H1696.
