Taanach or Tanach = "sandy"
an ancient Canaanite city conquered by Joshua and allotted to the half tribe of Manasseh although in the territory of Issachar; given to the Kohathite Levites; located on the west of the Jordan and near the waters of Megiddo

Strong's Number H8590 matches the Hebrew תַּעְנָךְ (taʿnāḵ),
which occurs 7 times in 7 verses
in the WLC Hebrew.
Within Issachar and Asher, Manasseh had Beth-shean, Ibleam, and the inhabitants of Dor with their surrounding villages; the inhabitants of En-dor, Taanach, and Megiddo — the three cities of[fn] Naphath — with their surrounding villages.
From half the tribe of Manasseh they gave:
Taanach with its pasturelands and Gath-rimmon[fn] with its pasturelands — two cities.
At that time Manasseh failed to take possession of Beth-shean and Taanach and their surrounding villages, or the residents of Dor, Ibleam, and Megiddo and their surrounding villages; the Canaanites were determined to stay in this land.
