Then he presented the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
but he washed the entrails and legs with water. He then burned the entire ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD as he had commanded Moses.
Then Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar with the burnt offering. This was an ordination offering for a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.
He said to Aaron, “Take a young bull for a sin[fn] offering and a ram for a burnt offering, both without blemish, and present them before the LORD.
“And tell the Israelites:[fn] Take a male goat for a sin offering; a calf and a lamb, male yearlings without blemish, for a burnt offering;
Then Moses said to Aaron, “Approach the altar and sacrifice your sin offering and your burnt offering; make atonement for yourself and the people.[fn] Sacrifice the people’s offering and make atonement for them, as the LORD commanded.”
Then he slaughtered the burnt offering. Aaron’s sons brought him the blood, and he splattered it on all sides of the altar.
They brought him the burnt offering piece by piece, along with the head, and he burned them on the altar.
He washed the entrails and the legs and burned them with the burnt offering on the altar.
Next he presented the grain offering, took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar in addition to the morning burnt offering.
Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them. He came down after sacrificing the sin offering, the burnt offering, and the fellowship offering.
Fire came from the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell facedown.
But Aaron replied to Moses, “See, today they presented their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD. Since these things have happened to me, if I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been acceptable in the LORD’s sight? ”
“When her days of purification are complete, whether for a son or daughter, she is to bring to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting a year-old male lamb for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove for a sin[fn] offering.
“But if she doesn’t have sufficient means[fn] for a sheep, she may take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. Then the priest will make atonement on her behalf, and she will be clean.”

“Next the Levites are to lay their hands on the heads of the bulls. Sacrifice one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering to the LORD, to make atonement for the Levites.
“You are to sound the trumpets over your burnt offerings and your fellowship sacrifices and on your joyous occasions, your appointed festivals, and the beginning of each of your months. They will serve as a reminder for you before your God: I am the LORD your God.”
