Jabin = "whom God observes"
a king of Hazor who organised a confederacy of the northern princes against Joshua; confederacy routed by the waters of Merom

Strong's Number H2985 matches the Hebrew יָבִין (yāḇîn),
which occurs 8 times in 7 verses
in the WLC Hebrew.
When King Jabin of Hazor heard this news, he sent a message to: King Jobab of Madon, the kings of Shimron and Achshaph,
So the LORD sold them to King Jabin of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor. The commander of his army was Sisera who lived in Harosheth of the Nations.[fn]
