‘Is it not laid up in store with Me,

Sealed up in My treasuries?

So she wrote letters in Ahab’s name and sealed them with his seal, and sent them to the elders and nobles who lived with Naboth in his city.

Then the king’s scribes (secretaries) were summoned on the thirteenth day of the first month, and it was written just as Haman commanded to the king’s satraps (chief rulers), and to the governors who were over each province and to the officials of each people, each province according to its script (writing), each people according to their own language; being written in the name of King Ahasuerus and sealed with the king’s signet ring.

Bind up the testimony, seal the law and the teaching among my (Isaiah’s) disciples.

“You had the full measure of perfection and the finishing touch [of completeness],

Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.

“Seventy weeks [of years, or 490 years] [fn]have been decreed for your people and for your holy city (Jerusalem), to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make atonement (reconciliation) for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness (right-standing with God), to seal up vision and prophecy and prophet, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.
