Then Yahweh ^H3068 sent ^H7971 forth His hand ^H3027 and touched ^H5060 my mouth ^H6310, and Yahweh ^H3068 said ^H559 to me,

“Behold ^H2009, I have put ^H5414 My words ^H1697 in your mouth ^H6310.

‘Will He be ^H5201 angry ^H5201 forever ^H5769?

Will He keep ^H8104 it to the end ^H5331?’

Behold ^H2009, you have spoken ^H1696

And have done ^H6213 evil ^H7451 things ^H7451,

And you have [fn]had ^H3201 your way ^H3201.”

“Behold ^H2009, he goes ^H5927 up ^H5927 like clouds ^H6051,

And his chariots ^H4818 like the whirlwind ^H5492;

His horses ^H5483 are ^H7043 swifter ^H7043 than ^H4480 eagles ^H5404.

Woe ^H188 to us, for we are devastated ^H7703!”

“Make ^H2142 mention ^H2142 of it to the nations ^H1471, saying, ‘Behold ^H2009!’

Make ^H8085 it heard ^H8085 over ^H5921 Jerusalem ^H3389,

‘Besiegers ^H5341 come ^H935 from a far ^H4801 country ^H776,

And give ^H5414 forth their voices ^H6963 against ^H5921 the cities ^H5892 of Judah ^H3063.

I saw ^H7200 on the earth ^H776, and behold ^H2009, it was [fn]formless ^H8414 and void ^H922;

And to the heavens ^H8064, and they had ^H369 no ^H369 light ^H216.

To whom ^H4310 shall I speak ^H1696 and give ^H5749 warning ^H5749

That they may hear ^H8085?

Behold ^H2009, their ears ^H241 are uncircumcised ^H6189,

“Behold ^H2009, you are trusting ^H982 in lying ^H8267 words ^H1697 to no ^H1115 avail ^H3276.

“How ^H351 can you say ^H559, ‘We are wise ^H2450,

And the law ^H8451 of Yahweh ^H3068 is with us’?

But behold ^H2009, the lying ^H8267 pen ^H5842 of the scribes ^H5608

For a time ^H6256 of healing ^H4832, but behold ^H2009, terror ^H1205!

But, “Ah ^H162, Lord ^H136 Yahweh ^H3068!” I said ^H559, “Behold ^H2009, the prophets ^H5030 are saying ^H559 to them, ‘You will not see ^H7200 the sword ^H2719 nor ^H3808 will you have ^H1961 famine ^H7458, but ^H3588 I will give ^H5414 you true ^H571 peace ^H7965 in this ^H2088 place ^H4725.’”

‘If ^H518 I go ^H3318 out ^H3318 to the field ^H7704,

Behold ^H2009, those [fn]slain ^H2491 with the sword ^H2719!

Or if ^H518 I enter ^H935 the city ^H5892,

Behold ^H2009, diseases ^H8463 of famine ^H7458!

For both ^H1571 prophet ^H5030 and priest ^H3548

Have gone around ^H5503 as merchants ^H5503 in the land ^H776 that they do not know ^H3045.’”

“Therefore ^H3651 behold ^H2009, days ^H3117 are coming ^H935,” declares ^H5002 Yahweh ^H3068, “when it will no ^H3808 longer ^H5750 be said ^H559, ‘As Yahweh ^H3068 lives ^H2416, who ^H834 brought ^H5927 up ^H5927 the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 out of the land ^H776 of Egypt ^H4714,’

Behold ^H2009, they keep saying ^H559 to me,

“Where ^H346 is the word ^H1697 of Yahweh ^H3068?

Let it come ^H935 now ^H4994!”

“Behold ^H2009, the days ^H3117 are coming ^H935,” declares ^H5002 Yahweh ^H3068,

“When I will raise ^H6965 up ^H6965 for David ^H1732 a righteous ^H6662 [fn]Branch ^H6780;

And He will reign ^H4427 as king ^H4428 and [fn]prosper ^H7919

And do ^H6213 justice ^H4941 and righteousness ^H6666 in the land ^H776.

“Therefore ^H3651 behold ^H2009, the days ^H3117 are coming ^H935,” declares ^H5002 Yahweh ^H3068, “when they will no ^H3808 longer ^H5750 say ^H559, ‘As Yahweh ^H3068 lives ^H2416, who ^H834 brought ^H5927 up ^H5927 the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 from the land ^H776 of Egypt ^H4714,’

“Behold ^H2009, the storm ^H5591 of Yahweh ^H3068 has gone ^H3318 forth ^H3318 in wrath ^H2534,

Even a whirling ^H2342 storm ^H5591;

It will whirl ^H2342 down ^H2342 on the head ^H7218 of the wicked ^H7563.

And a great ^H1419 storm ^H5591 is being stirred ^H5782 up ^H5782

From the remotest ^H3411 parts ^H3411 of the earth ^H776.

Then I spoke ^H1696 to the priests ^H3548 and to all ^H3605 this ^H2088 people ^H5971, saying ^H559, “Thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068: Do not listen ^H8085 to the words ^H1697 of your prophets ^H5030 who prophesy ^H5012 to you, saying ^H559, ‘Behold ^H2009, the vessels ^H3627 of the house ^H1004 of Yahweh ^H3068 will now ^H6258 shortly ^H4120 be returned ^H7725 from Babylon ^H894’; for they are prophesying ^H5012 a lie ^H8267 to you.

Behold ^H2009, the storm ^H5591 of Yahweh ^H3068!

Wrath ^H2534 has gone ^H3318 forth ^H3318,

A [fn]sweeping ^H1641 storm ^H5591;

It will burst ^H2342 on the head ^H7218 of the wicked ^H7563.

“Behold ^H2009, days ^H3117 are coming ^H935,” declares ^H5002 Yahweh ^H3068, “when I will sow ^H2232 the house ^H1004 of Israel ^H3478 and the house ^H1004 of Judah ^H3063 with the seed ^H2233 of man ^H120 and with the seed ^H2233 of beast ^H929.

“Behold ^H2009, days ^H3117 are coming ^H935,” declares ^H5002 Yahweh ^H3068, “when I will cut ^H3772 a new ^H2319 covenant ^H1285 with the house ^H1004 of Israel ^H3478 and with the house ^H1004 of Judah ^H3063,

“Behold ^H2009, days ^H3117 are coming ^H935,” declares ^H5002 Yahweh ^H3068, “when the city ^H5892 will be rebuilt ^H1129 for Yahweh ^H3068 from the Tower ^H4026 of Hananel ^H2606 to the Corner ^H6438 Gate ^H8179.

‘Behold ^H2009, days ^H3117 are coming ^H935,’ declares ^H5002 Yahweh ^H3068, ‘when I will establish ^H6965 the good ^H2896 word ^H1697 which ^H834 I have spoken ^H1696 concerning ^H413 the house ^H1004 of Israel ^H3478 and the house ^H1004 of Judah ^H3063.
