In late Hebrew, contracted to עֲדֶ֫נָה hitherto, stillEcclesiastes 4:2, עֲדֶןEcclesiastes 4:3 אֲשֶׁר עֲדֶן לֹא הָיָה = who has not yet been (compare Mishna עֲדַיִן hitherto, still, עֲדַיִן לֹא = not yet).
