Then Jesus told the centurion, “Go. As you have believed, let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that very moment.[fn]

Jesus turned and saw her. “Have courage, daughter,” he said. “Your faith has saved you.”[fn] And the woman was made well from that moment.[fn]

“But when they hand you over, don’t worry about how or what you are to speak. For you will be given what to say at that hour,

When evening came, the disciples approached him and said, “This place is deserted, and it is already late.[fn] Send the crowds away so that they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

Then Jesus replied to her, “Woman, your faith is great. Let it be done for you as you want.” And from that moment[fn] her daughter was healed.

Then Jesus rebuked the demon,[fn] and it[fn] came out of him, and from that moment[fn] the boy was healed.

At that time[fn] the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “So who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven? ”

“When he went out about nine in the morning,[fn] he saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing.

“About noon and about three,[fn] he went out again and did the same thing.

“When those who were hired about five came, they each received one denarius.

“‘These last men put in one hour, and you made them equal to us who bore the burden of the day’s work and the burning heat.’

“Now concerning that day and hour no one knows ​— ​neither the angels of heaven nor the Son[fn] ​— ​except the Father alone.

“This is why you are also to be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

“that servant’s master will come on a day he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know.

“Therefore be alert, because you don’t know either the day or the hour.[fn]

Then he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. He asked Peter, “So, couldn’t you stay awake with me one hour?

Then he came to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? See, the time is near. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

At that time Jesus said to the crowds, “Have you come out with swords and clubs, as if I were a criminal,[fn] to capture me? Every day I used to sit, teaching in the temple, and you didn’t arrest me.

From noon until three in the afternoon,[fn] darkness came over the whole land.[fn]

When it grew late, his disciples approached him and said, “This place is deserted, and it is already late.

He went into Jerusalem and into the temple. After looking around at everything, since it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.

“So when they arrest you and hand you over, don’t worry beforehand what you will say, but say whatever is given to you at that time, for it isn’t you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

“Now concerning that day or hour no one knows ​— ​neither the angels in heaven nor the Son ​— ​but only the Father.

He went a little farther, fell to the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

Then he came and found them sleeping. He said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you stay awake one hour?

Then he came a third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough! The time has come. See, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Now it was nine in the morning[fn] when they crucified him.

When it was noon,[fn] darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon.[fn]

At the hour of incense the whole assembly of the people was praying outside.

At that very moment,[fn] she came up and began to thank God and to speak about him to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.[fn]

At that time Jesus healed many people of diseases, afflictions, and evil spirits, and he granted sight to many blind people.

At that time he[fn] rejoiced in the Holy[fn] Spirit and said, “I praise[fn] you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, because this was your good pleasure.[fn]

“For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that very hour what must be said.”

“But know this: If the homeowner had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.

“that servant’s master will come on a day he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know. He will cut him to pieces[fn] and assign him a place with the unfaithful.[fn]

At that time some Pharisees came and told him, “Go, get out of here. Herod wants to kill you.”

“At the time of the banquet, he sent his servant to tell those who were invited, ‘Come, because everything is now ready.’

Then the scribes and the chief priests looked for a way to get their hands on him that very hour, because they knew he had told this parable against them, but they feared the people.

When the hour came, he reclined at the table, and the apostles with him.

“Every day while I was with you in the temple, you never laid a hand on me. But this is your hour ​— ​and the dominion of darkness.”

About an hour later, another kept insisting, “This man was certainly with him, since he’s also a Galilean.”

It was now about noon,[fn] and darkness came over the whole land[fn] until three,[fn]

That very hour they got up and returned to Jerusalem. They found the Eleven and those with them gathered together,

“Come and you’ll see,” he replied. So they went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four in the afternoon.[fn]

“What has this concern of yours to do with me,[fn] woman? ” Jesus asked. “My hour has not yet come.”

Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, worn out from his journey, sat down at the well. It was about noon.[fn]

Jesus told her, “Believe me, woman, an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
