“You shall not mistreat ^H3238 a sojourner ^H1616 or oppress ^H3905 him, for you were sojourners ^H1616 in the land ^H776 of Egypt ^H4714.

“And you shall not oppress ^H3905 a sojourner ^H1616, since you yourselves ^H859 know ^H3045 the soul ^H5315 of a sojourner ^H1616, for you also were sojourners ^H1616 in the land ^H776 of Egypt ^H4714.

‘The land ^H776, moreover, shall not be sold ^H4376 permanently ^H6783, for the land ^H776 is Mine; for you are but sojourners ^H1616 and foreign ^H8453 residents ^H8453 with Me.

‘Now if ^H3588 a brother ^H251 of yours becomes ^H4134 poor ^H4134 and his [fn]means ^H3027 with ^H5973 regard ^H5973 to ^H5973 you falter ^H4131, then you are to sustain ^H2388 him, like a sojourner ^H1616 or a foreign ^H8453 resident ^H8453, that he may live ^H2421 with you.
