But when he heard that Archelaus was ruling over Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being warned in a dream, he withdrew to the region of Galilee.

When Jesus left there, he withdrew to the area of Tyre and Sidon.

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi,[fn] he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is? ”[fn]

“He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

And he immediately got into the boat with his disciples and went to the district of Dalmanutha.

And when he had passed through those areas and offered them many words of encouragement, he came to Greece

When Paul realized that one part of them were Sadducees and the other part were Pharisees, he cried out in the Sanhedrin, “Brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. I am being judged because of the hope of the resurrection of the dead! ”

The shouting grew loud, and some of the scribes of the Pharisees’ party got up and argued vehemently, “We find nothing evil in this man. What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him? ”[fn]

I don’t want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you will not be conceited: A partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

In fact, what had been glorious is not glorious now by comparison because of the glory that surpasses it.

But what does “he ascended” mean except that he[fn] also descended to the lower parts of the earth?[fn]

From him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building itself up in love by the proper working of each individual part.

Therefore, don’t let anyone judge you in regard to food and drink or in the matter of a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day.[fn]

The cherubim of glory were above the ark overshadowing the mercy seat. It is not possible to speak about these things in detail right now.

The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations[fn] fell. Babylon the Great was remembered in God’s presence; he gave her the cup filled with the wine of his fierce anger.

Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! The second death has no power[fn] over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.

“But the cowards, faithless,[fn] detestable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars ​— ​their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share of the tree of life and the holy city, which are written about in this book.
