“All the nations[fn] will be gathered before him, and he will separate them one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
And they were terrified[fn] and asked one another, “Who then is this? Even the wind and the sea obey him! ”
But they were silent, because on the way they had been arguing with one another about who was the greatest.
“Salt is good, but if the salt should lose its flavor, how can you season it? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
In the same way, the chief priests with the scribes were mocking him among themselves and saying, “He saved others, but he cannot save himself!
When the angels had left them and returned to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go straight to Bethlehem and see what has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”
Amazement came over them all, and they were saying to one another, “What is this message? For he commands the unclean spirits with authority and power, and they come out! ”
They, however, were filled with rage and started discussing with one another what they might do to Jesus.
“They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to each other:
We played the flute for you,
but you didn’t dance;
we sang a lament,

He said to them, “Where is your faith? ”

They said to each other, “Weren’t our hearts burning within us while he was talking with us on the road and explaining the Scriptures to us? ”
The disciples said to one another, “Could someone have brought him something to eat? ”
“How can you believe, since you accept glory from one another but don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God?
At that, the Jews argued among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat? ”
They were looking for Jesus and asking one another as they stood in the temple, “What do you think? He won’t come to the festival, will he? ”
“So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
The disciples started looking at one another — uncertain which one he was speaking about.
“I give you a new command: Love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another.

So they said to one another, “Let’s not tear it, but cast lots for it, to see who gets it.” This happened that the Scripture might be fulfilled that says: They divided my clothes among themselves, and they cast lots for my clothing. This is what the soldiers did.
“The next day he showed up while they were fighting and tried to reconcile them peacefully, saying, ‘Men, you are brothers. Why are you mistreating each other? ’
They had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company, and Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed off to Cyprus.
“So if Demetrius and the craftsmen who are with him have a case against anyone, the courts are in session, and there are proconsuls. Let them bring charges against one another.
When our time had come to an end, we left to continue our journey, while all of them, with their wives and children, accompanied us out of the city. After kneeling down on the beach to pray,
and when they had left they talked with each other and said, “This man is not doing anything to deserve death or imprisonment.”
When the local people saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “This man, no doubt, is a murderer. Even though he has escaped the sea, Justice has not allowed him to live.”

Love one another deeply as brothers and sisters. Take the lead in honoring one another.
Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud; instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
Do not owe anyone anything, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.
Therefore, let us no longer judge one another. Instead decide never to put a stumbling block or pitfall in the way of your brother or sister.
