Then the news about him spread throughout Syria. So they brought to him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics. And he healed them.
When evening came, they brought to him many who were demon-possessed. He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick,
“Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy,[fn] drive out demons. Freely you received, freely give.
There he saw a man who had a shriveled hand, and in order to accuse him they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath? ”
Jesus was aware of this and withdrew. Large crowds[fn] followed him, and he healed them all.
Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and unable to speak was brought to him. He healed him, so that the man[fn] could both speak and see.
When he went ashore,[fn] he saw a large crowd, had compassion on them, and healed their sick.
and large crowds came to him, including the lame, the blind, the crippled, those unable to speak, and many others. They put them at his feet, and he healed them.
and he healed many who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons. And he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.
In order to accuse him, they were watching him closely to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath.
Since he had healed many, all who had diseases were pressing toward him to touch him.
He was not able to do a miracle there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them.
Then he said to them, “No doubt you will quote this proverb[fn] to me: ‘Doctor, heal yourself. What we’ve heard that took place in Capernaum, do here in your hometown also.’ ”
When the sun was setting, all those who had anyone sick with various diseases brought them to him. As he laid his hands on each one of them, he healed them.
But the news[fn] about him spread even more, and large crowds would come together to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses.
The scribes and Pharisees were watching him closely, to see if he would heal on the Sabbath, so that they could find a charge against him.
They came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those tormented by unclean spirits were made well.
At that time Jesus healed many people of diseases, afflictions, and evil spirits, and he granted sight to many blind people.

So they went out and traveled from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing everywhere.
But the leader of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, responded by telling the crowd, “There are six days when work should be done; therefore come on those days and be healed and not on the Sabbath day.”
In response, Jesus asked the law experts and the Pharisees, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not? ”
and so the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “This is the Sabbath. The law prohibits you from picking up your mat.”
And since they saw the man who had been healed standing with them, they had nothing to say in opposition.
In addition, a multitude came together from the towns surrounding Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.
For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed, and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.
“Neither is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives everyone life and breath and all things.
After this, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were healed.
One of its heads appeared to be fatally wounded, but its fatal wound was healed.
The whole earth was amazed and followed the beast.
