King Ahasuerus said to Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, “Look, I have given Haman’s estate to Esther, and he was hanged on the gallows because he attacked[fn] the Jews.
And they will be called[fn] the Holy People,
the LORD’s Redeemed;
and you will be called Cared For,
A City Not Deserted.
Afterward, the people of Israel will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come with awe to the LORD and to his goodness in the last days.
