Strong's Number G1929 matches the Greek ἐπιδίδωμι (epididōmi),
which occurs 11 times in 10 verses
in the TR Greek.
The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him, and unrolling the scroll, he found the place where it was written:
“What father among you, if his son[fn] asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead of a fish?
It was as he reclined at the table with them that he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.
Jesus replied, “He’s the one I give the piece of bread to after I have dipped it.” When he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas, Simon Iscariot’s son.[fn]
So they were sent off and went down to Antioch, and after gathering the assembly, they delivered the letter.
