b. to make renowned, render illustrious, i. e. to cause the dignity and worth of some person or thing to become manifest and acknowledged: τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ, 2 Thessalonians 3:1; Christ, the Son of God, John 8:54; John 11:4; John 16:14; John 17:10; God the Father, John 13:31; John 14:13; John 15:8; John 17:1, 4; 1 Peter 4:11; τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ θεοῦ, John 12:28.
