After these events, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision:

For the living know that they will die, but the dead don’t know anything. There is no longer a reward for them because the memory of them is forgotten.
See, the Lord GOD comes with strength,
and his power establishes his rule.
His wages are with him,
and his reward accompanies him.
Look, the LORD has proclaimed
to the ends of the earth,
“Say to Daughter Zion:
Look, your salvation is coming,
his wages are with him,
and his reward accompanies him.”
