“Behold ^H2009, a people ^H5971 is coming ^H935 from the land ^H776 of the north ^H6828,

And a great ^H1419 nation ^H1471 will be aroused ^H5782 from the remote ^H3411 parts ^H3411 of the earth ^H776.

Behold ^H2009, the sound ^H6963! The cry ^H7775 of the daughter ^H1323 of my people ^H5971 from a distant ^H4801 land ^H776:

“Is Yahweh ^H3068 not in Zion ^H6726? Is her King ^H4428 not within her?”

“Why ^H4069 have they provoked ^H3707 Me to anger ^H3707 with their graven ^H6456 images ^H6456, with foreign ^H5236 [fn]idols ^H1892?”

When He gives ^H5414 forth His voice ^H6963, there is a tumult ^H1995 of waters ^H4325 in the heavens ^H8064,

And He causes the clouds ^H5387 to ascend ^H5927 from the end ^H7097 of the earth ^H776;

You who inhabit ^H3427 a land under siege ^H4692!

“Behold ^H2009, I am slinging ^H7049 out ^H7049 the inhabitants ^H3427 of the land ^H776

The sound ^H6963 of a report ^H8052! Behold ^H2009, it comes ^H935—
