“This is how you are to make it: The ark will be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high.[fn]

Bezalel constructed the altar of burnt offering from acacia wood. It was square, 7 ¹/₂ feet long and 7 ¹/₂ feet wide,[fn] and was 4 ¹/₂ feet[fn] high.

The screen for the gate of the courtyard was made of finely spun linen, expertly embroidered[fn] with blue, purple, and scarlet yarn. It was 30 feet[fn] long, and like the hangings of the courtyard, 7 ¹/₂ feet[fn] high.[fn]

They made the breastpiece square and folded double, nine inches long and nine inches wide.[fn]

The temple that King Solomon built for the LORD was ninety feet[fn] long, thirty feet[fn] wide, and forty-five feet[fn] high.

The interior of the sanctuary was thirty feet long, thirty feet wide, and thirty feet high; he overlaid it with pure gold. He also overlaid the cedar altar.

He built the House of the Forest of Lebanon. It was one hundred fifty feet[fn] long, seventy-five feet[fn] wide, and forty-five feet[fn] high on four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams on top of the pillars.

He made the hall of pillars seventy-five feet long and forty-five feet wide. A portico was in front of the pillars, and a canopy with pillars[fn] was in front of them.

Then he made ten bronze water carts.[fn] Each water cart was 6 feet long, 6 feet wide, and 4 ¹/₂ feet[fn] high.

These are Solomon’s foundations[fn] for building God’s temple: the length[fn] was ninety feet,[fn] and the width thirty feet.[fn]

Then he made the most holy place; its length corresponded to the width of the temple, 30 feet, and its width was 30 feet. He overlaid it with forty-five thousand pounds[fn] of fine gold.

The overall length of the wings of the cherubim was 30 feet: the wing of one was 7 ¹/₂ feet,[fn] touching the wall of the room; its other wing was 7 ¹/₂ feet, touching the wing of the other cherub.

In front of the temple he made two pillars, each 27 feet[fn] high. The capital on top of each was 7 ¹/₂ feet high.

He made a bronze altar 30 feet[fn] long, 30 feet wide, and 15 feet[fn] high.

For Solomon had made a bronze platform 7 ¹/₂ feet[fn] long, 7 ¹/₂ feet wide, and 4 ¹/₂ feet[fn] high and put it in the court. He stood on it, knelt down in front of the entire congregation of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven.

Wisdom is found with the elderly,

and understanding comes with long life.

He asked you for life, and you gave it to him —

length of days forever and ever.

Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in[fn] the house of the LORD

as long as I live.[fn]

I will satisfy him with a long life

and show him my salvation.

LORD, your testimonies are completely reliable;

holiness adorns your house

for all the days to come.

for they will bring you

many days, a full life,[fn] and well-being.

Long life[fn] is in her right hand;

in her left, riches and honor.

A ruler can be persuaded through patience,

and a gentle tongue can break a bone.

Why do you continually forget us,

abandon us for our entire lives?
