“Then I said ^H559,

‘How ^H349 I would set ^H7896 you among [fn]My sons ^H1121

And give ^H5414 you a pleasant ^H2532 land ^H776,

The most ^H6643 beautiful ^H6643 inheritance ^H5159 of the nations ^H1471!’

And I said ^H559, ‘You shall call ^H7121 Me, “My Father ^H1,”

And not turn ^H7725 away ^H7725 from following ^H310 Me.’

Therefore ^H3651, thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068, the God ^H430 of hosts ^H6635,

“Because ^H3282 you have spoken ^H1696 this ^H2088 word ^H1697,

Behold ^H2009, I am making ^H5414 My words ^H1697 in your mouth ^H6310 fire ^H784

And this ^H2088 people ^H5971 wood ^H6086, and it will devour ^H398 them.

For thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635,

“Cut ^H3772 down ^H3772 her trees ^H6097

And cast ^H8210 up ^H8210 a siege ^H5550 against ^H5921 Jerusalem ^H3389.

This ^H1931 is the city ^H5892 to be punished ^H6485,

In whose midst ^H7130 there is only ^H3605 oppression ^H6233.

Thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635,

“They will thoroughly ^H5953 glean ^H5953 as the vine ^H1612 the remnant ^H7611 of Israel ^H3478;

Pass ^H7725 your hand ^H3027 again ^H7725 like a grape gatherer ^H1219

Over ^H5921 the branches ^H5552.”

Thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635, the God ^H430 of Israel ^H3478, “Add ^H3254 your burnt ^H5930 offerings ^H5930 to your sacrifices ^H2077 and eat ^H398 flesh ^H1320.

Therefore ^H3651 thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635,

“Behold ^H2009, I will refine ^H6884 them and test ^H974 them;

For what ^H349 else can I do ^H6213, because ^H4480 H6440 of the daughter ^H1323 of My people ^H5971?

Thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635,

“Carefully ^H995 consider ^H995 and call ^H7121 for the mourning ^H6969 women ^H6969, that they may come ^H935;

And send ^H7971 for the [fn]skillful ^H2450 women ^H2450, that they may come ^H935!

The portion ^H2506 of Jacob ^H3290 is not like these ^H428;

For the [fn]Maker ^H3335 of all ^H3605 is He,

And Israel ^H3478 is the tribe ^H7626 of His inheritance ^H5159;

Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635 is His name ^H8034.

“Behold ^H2009, evil ^H7451 is going ^H3318 forth ^H3318

From nation ^H1471 to nation ^H1471,

And a great ^H1419 storm ^H5591 is being stirred ^H5782 up ^H5782

From the remotest ^H3411 parts ^H3411 of the earth ^H776.

“Zion ^H6726 will be plowed ^H2790 as a field ^H7704,

And Jerusalem ^H3389 will become ^H1961 a heap ^H5856 of ^H5856 ruins ^H5856,

And the mountain ^H2022 of the house ^H1004 will become [fn]the high ^H1116 places ^H1116 of a forest ^H3293.”’

“Thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635, the God ^H430 of Israel ^H3478, concerning ^H413 Ahab ^H256 the son ^H1121 of Kolaiah ^H6964 and concerning ^H413 Zedekiah ^H6667 the son ^H1121 of Maaseiah ^H4641, who are prophesying ^H5012 to you falsely ^H8267 in My name ^H8034, ‘Behold ^H2009, I will give ^H5414 them into the hand ^H3027 of Nebuchadnezzar ^H5019 king ^H4428 of Babylon ^H894, and he will strike ^H5221 them down ^H5221 before your eyes ^H5869.

‘And it will be ^H1961 in that day ^H3117,’ declares ^H5002 Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635, ‘that I will break ^H7665 his yoke ^H5923 from off ^H5921 your neck ^H6677 and will tear ^H5423 off ^H5423 your bonds ^H4147; and strangers ^H2114 will no ^H3808 longer ^H5750 make ^H5647 [fn]them their slaves ^H5647.

Thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635, the God ^H430 of Israel ^H3478, “Once again ^H5750 they will speak ^H559 this ^H2088 word ^H1697 in the land ^H776 of Judah ^H3063 and in its cities ^H5892 when I [fn]return ^H7725 their [fn]fortunes ^H7622,

‘Yahweh ^H3068 bless ^H1288 you, O abode ^H5116 of righteousness ^H6664,

O holy ^H6944 hill ^H2022!’

Thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068,

Who gives ^H5414 the sun ^H8121 for light ^H216 by day ^H3119

And the statutes ^H2708 for the moon ^H3394 and the stars ^H3556 for light ^H216 by night ^H3915,

Who stirs ^H7280 up the sea ^H3220 so that its waves ^H1530 roar ^H1993;

Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635 is His name ^H8034:

“Give ^H3034 thanks ^H3034 to Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635,

For Yahweh ^H3068 is good ^H2896,

For His lovingkindness ^H2617 endures forever ^H5769”;

and of those who bring ^H935 a thank ^H8426 offering ^H8426 into the house ^H1004 of Yahweh ^H3068. For I will [fn]return ^H7725 the [fn]fortunes ^H7622 of the land ^H776 as they were at first ^H7223,’ says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068.
