Make and keep your vows
to the LORD your God;
let all who are around him bring tribute
to the awe-inspiring one.[fn]
When you make a vow to God, don’t delay fulfilling it, because he does not delight in fools. Fulfill what you vow.
The LORD will make himself known to Egypt, and Egypt will know the LORD on that day. They will offer sacrifices and offerings; they will make vows to the LORD and fulfill them.
“This is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘As for you and your wives, you women have spoken with your mouths, and you men fulfilled it by your deeds, saying, “We will keep our vows that we have made to burn incense to the queen of heaven and to pour out drink offerings for her.” Go ahead, confirm your vows! The men were seized by great fear of the LORD, and they offered a sacrifice to the LORD and made vows.
but as for me, I will sacrifice to you
with a voice of thanksgiving.
