Strong's Number G901 matches the Greek βαθύς (bathys),
which occurs 17 times in 17 verses
in the LXX Greek.
They are higher than the heavens — what can you do?
They are deeper than Sheol — what can you know?
He reveals mysteries from the darkness
and brings the deepest darkness into the light.
They devise crimes and say,
“We have perfected a secret plan.”
The inner man and the heart are mysterious.
The words of a person’s mouth are deep waters,
a flowing river, a fountain of wisdom.[fn]
Counsel in a person’s heart is deep water;
but a person of understanding draws it out.
The mouth of the forbidden woman is a deep pit;
a man cursed by the LORD will fall into it.

“Assyria is there with her whole assembly;
her graves are all around her.
All of them are slain, fallen by the sword.
