Then Jesus told the centurion, “Go. As you have believed, let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that very moment.[fn]
“But when they hand you over, don’t worry about how or what you are to speak. For you will be given what to say at that hour,
When evening came, the disciples approached him and said, “This place is deserted, and it is already late.[fn] Send the crowds away so that they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”
Then Jesus replied to her, “Woman, your faith is great. Let it be done for you as you want.” And from that moment[fn] her daughter was healed.
At that time[fn] the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “So who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven? ”
“When he went out about nine in the morning,[fn] he saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing.
“‘These last men put in one hour, and you made them equal to us who bore the burden of the day’s work and the burning heat.’
“Now concerning that day and hour no one knows — neither the angels of heaven nor the Son[fn] — except the Father alone.

“that servant’s master will come on a day he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know.
Then he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. He asked Peter, “So, couldn’t you stay awake with me one hour?
Then he came to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? See, the time is near. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
At that time Jesus said to the crowds, “Have you come out with swords and clubs, as if I were a criminal,[fn] to capture me? Every day I used to sit, teaching in the temple, and you didn’t arrest me.
About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Elí, Elí, lemá[fn] sabachtháni ? ” that is, “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me ?”
When it grew late, his disciples approached him and said, “This place is deserted, and it is already late.
He went into Jerusalem and into the temple. After looking around at everything, since it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.
“So when they arrest you and hand you over, don’t worry beforehand what you will say, but say whatever is given to you at that time, for it isn’t you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
“Now concerning that day or hour no one knows — neither the angels in heaven nor the Son — but only the Father.
He went a little farther, fell to the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

At that time Jesus healed many people of diseases, afflictions, and evil spirits, and he granted sight to many blind people.
“But know this: If the homeowner had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.
At that time some Pharisees came and told him, “Go, get out of here. Herod wants to kill you.”
“At the time of the banquet, he sent his servant to tell those who were invited, ‘Come, because everything is now ready.’
Then the scribes and the chief priests looked for a way to get their hands on him that very hour, because they knew he had told this parable against them, but they feared the people.
“Every day while I was with you in the temple, you never laid a hand on me. But this is your hour — and the dominion of darkness.”
About an hour later, another kept insisting, “This man was certainly with him, since he’s also a Galilean.”
That very hour they got up and returned to Jerusalem. They found the Eleven and those with them gathered together,
“Come and you’ll see,” he replied. So they went and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about four in the afternoon.[fn]
“What has this concern of yours to do with me,[fn] woman? ” Jesus asked. “My hour has not yet come.”
Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, worn out from his journey, sat down at the well. It was about noon.[fn]
