Strong's Number G4972 matches the Greek σφραγίζω (sphragizō),
which occurs 15 times in 14 verses
in the MGNT Greek.
They went and secured the tomb by setting a seal on the stone and placing the guards.
“Don’t work for the food that perishes but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set his seal of approval on him.”
He has also put his seal on us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a down payment.
In him you also were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed.
And don’t grieve God’s Holy Spirit. You were sealed by him[fn] for the day of redemption.
“Don’t harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we seal the servants of our God on their foreheads.”

He threw him into the abyss, closed it, and put a seal on it so that he would no longer deceive the nations until the thousand years were completed. After that, he must be released for a short time.
