TDNT Reference: 3:469,391
Trench's Synonyms: lxxxiv. κακός, πονηρός, φαῦλος.
Strong's Number G2556 matches the Greek κακός (kakos),
which occurs 50 times in 45 verses

AND HIS EARS ARE ATTENTIVE TO THEIR PRAYER (eager to answer),
BUT THE FACE OF THE LORD IS AGAINST THOSE WHO PRACTICE EVIL.”
Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but [imitate] what is good. The one who practices good [exhibiting godly character, moral courage and personal integrity] is of God; the one who practices [or permits or tolerates] evil has not seen God [he has no personal experience with Him and does not know Him at all].
‘I know [fn]your deeds and your toil, and your patient endurance, and that you cannot tolerate those who are evil, and have tested and critically appraised those who call themselves apostles (special messengers, personally chosen representatives, of Christ), and [in fact] are not, and have found them to be liars and impostors;
