“This will be the sign for you: You will find a baby wrapped tightly in cloth and lying in a manger.”
After three days, they found him in the temple sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.
The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him, and unrolling the scroll, he found the place where it was written:

“When an unclean spirit comes out of a person, it roams through waterless places looking for rest, and not finding rest, it then[fn] says, ‘I’ll go back to my house that I came from.’
“Blessed will be those servants the master finds alert when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will get ready,[fn] have them recline at the table, then come and serve them.
“If he comes in the middle of the night, or even near dawn,[fn] and finds them alert, blessed are those servants.
And he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree that was planted in his vineyard. He came looking for fruit on it and found none.
“He told the vineyard worker, ‘Listen, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it even waste the soil? ’
“What man among you, who has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open field[fn] and go after the lost one until he finds it?
“and coming home, he calls his friends and neighbors together, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, because I have found my lost sheep! ’
“When she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, because I have found the silver coin I lost! ’
“because this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found! ’ So they began to celebrate.
“But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ ”
“I tell you that he will swiftly grant them justice. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth? ”
and said, “Go into the village ahead of you. As you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it.
but they could not find a way to do it, because all the people were captivated by what they heard.
When he got up from prayer and came to the disciples, he found them sleeping, exhausted from their grief.
They began to accuse him, saying, “We found this man misleading our nation, opposing payment of taxes to Caesar, and saying that he himself is the Messiah, a king.”
Pilate then told the chief priests and the crowds, “I find no grounds for charging this man.”
and said to them, “You have brought me this man as one who misleads the people. But in fact, after examining him in your presence, I have found no grounds to charge this man with those things you accuse him of.
A third time he said to them, “Why? What has this man done wrong? I have found in him no grounds for the death penalty. Therefore, I will have him whipped and then release him.”
“and when they didn’t find his body, they came and reported that they had seen a vision of angels who said he was alive.
“Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but they didn’t see him.”
