The LORD said to Abram:

Go from your land,

your relatives,

and your father’s house

to the land that I will show you.

Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “Pharaoh’s dreams mean the same thing. God has revealed to Pharaoh what he is about to do.

“It is just as I told Pharaoh: God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do.

So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one as discerning and wise as you are.

Israel said to Joseph, “I never expected to see your face again, but now God has even let me see your offspring.”

The LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to lead them on their way during the day and in a pillar of fire to give them light at night, so that they could travel day or night.

So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he threw it into the water, the water became drinkable.

The LORD made a statute and ordinance for them at Marah, and he tested them there.

“You must make it according to all that I show you ​— ​the pattern of the tabernacle as well as the pattern of all its furnishings.

“Be careful to make them according to the pattern you have been shown on the mountain.

“You are to set up the tabernacle according to the plan for it that you have been shown on the mountain.

For the LORD said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites: You are a stiff-necked people. If I went up with you for a single moment, I would destroy you. Now take off your jewelry, and I will decide what to do with you.”

Then Moses said, “Please, let me see your glory.”

“and if the contamination is green or red in the fabric, the leather, the warp, the weft, or any leather article, it is a mildew contamination and is to be shown to the priest.

This is the way the lampstand was made: it was a hammered work of gold, hammered from its base to its flower petals. The lampstand was made according to the pattern the LORD had shown Moses.

The men went back to Moses, Aaron, and the entire Israelite community in the Wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. They brought back a report for them and the whole community, and they showed them the fruit of the land.

“But if the LORD brings about something unprecedented, and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them along with all that belongs to them so that they go down alive into Sheol, then you will know that these men have despised the LORD.”

In the morning, Balak took Balaam and brought him to Bamoth-baal.[fn] From there he saw the outskirts of the people’s camp.

Balaam said to Balak, “Stay here by your burnt offering while I am gone. Maybe the LORD will meet with me. I will tell you whatever he reveals to me.” So he went to a barren hill.

The LORD then said to him, “This is the land I promised Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your own eyes, but you will not cross into it.”

“In the morning, present yourselves tribe by tribe. The tribe the LORD selects is to come forward clan by clan. The clan the LORD selects is to come forward family by family. The family the LORD selects is to come forward man by man.

The spies saw a man coming out of the town and said to him, “Please show us how to get into town, and we will show you kindness.”

Then their father asked them, “Which way did he go? ” His sons had seen[fn] the way taken by the man of God who had come from Judah.

Then the man of God asked, “Where did it fall? ”

When he showed him the place, the man of God cut a piece of wood, threw it there, and made the iron float.

Elisha told him, “Go say to him, ‘You are sure to[fn] recover.’ But the LORD has shown me that he is sure to die.”

Hazael said, “How could your servant, a mere dog, do such a mighty deed? ”

Elisha answered, “The LORD has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”

In the seventh year, Jehoiada sent for the commanders of hundreds, the Carites, and the guards. He had them come to him in the LORD’s temple, where he made a covenant with them and put them under oath. He showed them the king’s son

Hezekiah listened to the letters and showed the envoys his whole treasure house ​— ​the silver, the gold, the spices, and the precious oil ​— ​and his armory, and everything that was found in his treasuries. There was nothing in his palace and in all his realm that Hezekiah did not show them.

if I have done wrong, I won’t do it again.”

Many are asking, “Who can show us anything good? ”

Let the light of your face shine on us, LORD.

“Whoever offers a thanksgiving sacrifice honors me,

and whoever orders his conduct,

I will show him the salvation of God.”

My faithful God[fn] will come to meet me;

God will let me look down on my adversaries.
