فَقَالَ الْمَلِكُ: «لِيَنْصَرِفْ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ وَلاَ يَرَ وَجْهِي». فَانْصَرَفَ أَبْشَالُومُ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ وَلَمْ يَرَ وَجْهَ الْمَلِكِ.

فَقَالَ الْمَلِكُ: «لِيَنْصَرِفْ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ ولا يَرَ وَجْهِي». فَمَضَى أَبْشَالُومُ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ وَلَمْ يَمْثُلْ فِي حَضْرَةِ الْمَلِكِ.
