فَوَجَّهَ مَلِكُ أَرِيحَا إِلَى رَاحَابَ أَمْراً قَائِلاً: «أَخْرِجِي الْجَاسُوسَيْنِ اللَّذَيْنِ قَدِمَا عَلَيْكِ وَدَخَلا بَيْتَكِ، لأَنَّهُمَا قَدْ جَاءَا لِيَسْتَكْشِفَا الأَرْضَ كُلَّهَا».
