فَعَادَ الْغُلاَمُ وَأَجَابَ شَاوُلَ وَقَالَ: «هُوَذَا يُوجَدُ بِيَدِي رُبْعُ شَاقِلِ فِضَّةٍ فَأُعْطِيهِ لِرَجُلِ اللهِ فَيُخْبِرُنَا عَنْ طَرِيقِنَا».

فَقَالَ الْغُلامُ: «مَعِي رُبْعُ شَاقِلِ (أَيْ ثَلاثَةُ جِرَامَاتٍ) مِنَ الْفِضَّةِ، نُقَدِّمُهَا لَهُ فَيُخْبِرُنَا عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ الَّتِي نَتَّخِذُهَا».
