فَقَالَت: «لَيْتَنِي أَجِدُ نِعْمَةً فِي عَيْنَيْكَ يَا سَيِّدِي لأَنَّكَ قَدْ عَزَّيْتَنِي وَطَيَّبْتَ قَلْبَ جَارِيَتِكَ، وَأَنَا لَسْتُ كَوَاحِدَةٍ مِنْ جَوَارِيكَ».

فَقَالَتْ: «لَيْتَنِي أَظَلُّ مُتَمَتِّعَةً بِرِضَى سَيِّدِي، فَقَدْ عَزَّيْتَنِي وَطَيَّبْتَ قَلْبَ جَارِيَتِكَ، مَعْ أَنَّنِي لَا أُسَاوِي وَاحِدَةً مِنْ جَوَارِيكَ».
