وَتَقَهْقَرُوا أَمَامَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فِي طَرِيقِ الصَّحْرَاءِ. وَلَكِنَّ الْحَرْبَ أَدْرَكَتْهُمْ، وَخَرَجَ رِجَالُ الْكَمِينِ مِنَ الْمُدُنِ وَقَطَعُوا عَلَيْهِمِ الطَّرِيقَ، فَهَلَكَ الْبَنْيَامِينِيُّونَ بَيْنَ الْفَرِيقَيْنِ.
