وَمَا لَبِثَ أَنْ وَصَلَ يُوآبُ مَعَ بَعْضِ رِجَالِهِ قَادِمِينَ مِنْ غَزْوَةٍ أَصَابُوا فِيهَا غَنِيمَةً عَظِيمَةً. وكَانَ أَبْنَيْرُ آنَئِذٍ قَدْ غَادَرَ حَبْرُونَ بَعْدَ أنْ شَيَّعَهُ دَاوُدُ بِسَلامٍ.
