وَأَقَامُوا فَوْقَهُ رُجْمَةَ حِجَارَةٍ عَظِيمَةً إِلَى هذَا الْيَوْمِ. فَرَجَعَ الرَّبُّ عَنْ حُمُوِّ غَضَبِهِ. وَلِذلِكَ دُعِيَ اسْمُ ذلِكَ الْمَكَانِ «وَادِيَ عَخُورَ» إِلَى هذَا الْيَوْمِ.

وَأَقَامُوا فَوْقَهُ كَوْمَةً كَبِيرَةً مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ، مَا بَرِحَتْ بَاقِيَةً إِلَى هَذَا الْيَوْمِ. فَهَدَأَ غَضَبُ الرَّبِّ وَلِذَلِكَ دُعِيَ اسْمُ ذَلِكَ الْمَوْضِعِ وَادِي عَخُورَ (وَمَعْنَاهُ: وَادِي الإِزْعَاجِ) إِلَى هَذَا الْيَوْمِ.
