فَتَسَلَّلَ دَاوُدُ وَأَبِيشَايُ لَيْلاً إِلَى مُعَسْكَرِ شَاوُلَ، وَإذَا بِشَاوُلَ رَاقِدٌ عِنْدَ الْمِتْرَاسِ وَرُمْحُهُ مَغْرُوسٌ فِي الأَرْضِ إِلَى جِوَارِ رَأْسِهِ، وَأَبْنَيْرُ وَالْجُنُودُ نَائِمُونَ حَوْلَهُ.
