ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَبْشَالُومُ: «مَنْ يَجْعَلُنِي قَاضِيًا فِي الأَرْضِ فَيَأْتِيَ إِلَيَّ كُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ لَهُ خُصُومَةٌ وَدَعْوَى فَأُنْصِفَهُ؟».

ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَبْشَالُومُ: «لَوْ صِرْتُ قَاضِياً فِي الأَرْضِ لَكُنْتُ أُنْصِفُ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ لَهُ خُصُومَةٌ أَوْ دَعْوَى».
