ثُمَّ قَالَتْ لأَبِيهَا: «فَلْيُفْعَلْ لِي هذَا الأَمْرُ: اتْرُكْنِي شَهْرَيْنِ فَأَذْهَبَ وَأَنْزِلَ عَلَى الْجِبَالِ وَأَبْكِيَ عَذْرَاوِيَّتِي أَنَا وَصَاحِبَاتِي».

ثُمَّ قَالَتْ لأَبِيهَا: «وَلَكِنْ حَقِّقْ لِي هَذَا الطَّلَبَ: أَمْهِلْنِي شَهْرَيْنِ أَتَجَوَّلُ فِيهِمَا فِي الْجِبَالِ وَأَنْدُبُ عَذْرَاوِيَّتِي مَعَ صَاحِبَاتِي».
