And all H3605 the people H5971 were watching H7200 and hearing the [fn]thunder H6963 and the lightning H3940 flashes H3940, and the sound H6963 of the trumpet H7782, and the mountain H2022 smoking H6226; and when the people H5971 saw H7200 it all, they trembled H5128 and stood H5975 at a distance H7350.
Now all the people witnessed the thunder and the flashes of lightning and the sound of the trumpet and the smoking mountain; and as they looked, the people were afraid, and they trembled [and moved backward] and stood at a [safe] distance.
