Rabmag:
(Jeremiah 39:3; 39:13) a title borne by Nergal‐sharezer, probably identical with the king called by the Greeks Neriglissar. (It probably means chief of the magi; at all events it was "an office of great power and dignity at the Babylonian court, and probably gave its possessor special facilities for gaining the throne.") SEE [NERGALSHAREZER].
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
