Bethnimrah:
(house of leopards) one of the fenced cities on the east of Jordan taken and built by the tribe of Gad (Numbers 32:36) and described as being in the valley beside Beth‐haran (Joshua 13:27). In Numbers 32:3 it is called simply NIMRAH. SEE [NIMRAH]. The name still survives in the modern Nahr Nimrim, above Jericho on the Jordan.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
