Long (Adjective and Adverb):

is used of "long prayers" (Mat 23:14, in some mss.), Mar 12:40; Luk 20:47. It denotes "far" in Luk 15:13; 19:12.

A-2 Adjective Strong's Number: g2425 Greek: hikanos

Long (Adjective and Adverb):

"sufficient, much, long," is used with chronos, "time," in Luk 8:27; in Luk 20:9; 23:8 (AV, "season") the plural is used, lit., "long times;" Act 8:11; 14:3.

(1) In Act 14:28, AV, the adjective oligos, "little," with the negative ou, "not," and qualifying chronos, is rendered "long time;" RV, "no little (time)."

in one or other of its neuter forms, singular or plural, is used

(a) of degree, "greatly, much, many," e.g., Mar 1:45;
